Having written a bunch of infrastructure code over the last few years I learned a bunch on how to best structure code but also how to maintain it. One thing that helped a great deal was figuring out a thorough testing strategy for writing infrastructure code.
Fast iteration times are crucial for modern software development as they allow teams to run more experiments and deliver more value to their users and ultimately the business.
At CANDIS, we started the process of merging our existing products to one new modular platform in the second half of 2019. While this brought a slew of challenges with it, it also allowed us to review some details of our tech stack.
